Minutes of Special Meeting
December 16, 1998
The Board of Directors of the Kittitas Reclamation District met in Special Session on December 16, 1998. Directors in attendance were Chairman Paul Weaver, Vice Chairman Urban Eberhart, Jim Schnebly, John Scott and Larry Bland. Also in attendance were Jack Carpenter and Barbara Pettit.
The updated 1999 budget proposal was presented with Mr. Carpenter explaining the format and changes on the spreadsheet. Following lengthy discussion and review in detail of expense categories of the 1999 budget proposal a motion from Jim Schnebly and seconded by Larry Bland approved the 1999 O & M Budget in the sum of $2,150,189.00 and the Construction Repayment to the Bureau of Reclamation in the sum of $115,770.00 for a total of $2,265,959.00. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion from Jim Schnebly and seconded by Urban Eberhart approved the 1999 assessment rate with no increase and 95% O & M and 5% CDR. The motion passed unanimously.
The 1999 non union wage increases were authorized by a motion from Jim Schnebly and seconded by Urban Eberhart. The motion passed unanimously.
